Position: LMI & Data Collection and Reporting
Location(s): Huntsville, Alabama (4 positions) , Colorado
Springs, CO (2 positions), Fort Greely, AK (4 positions),
and Vandenberg AFB, CA (2 positions).
RTSC is currently anticipating opportunities supporting the Ground Based
Mid-Course Development & Sustainment Contract (GMD DSC). Hiring for
this opportunity is based upon award of the contract. Raytheon is
arguably the largest supplier of platforms to the GMD effort. Today
Raytheon supplies the SBX, UEWR, and EKV systems that comprise the
sensor and interceptor elements. Related Raytheon missile defense
platforms include the AN/TPY-2 (TH) and AN/TPY-2 (FB) radars, the SM3
missile, Patriot, and J-LENS. RTSC provides product support to IDS on
all their missile defense programs, as well as direct support to MDA on
the WASP program. The GMD system is a combination of sensors,
interceptors, communications, command and control systems that provides
defensive capabilities against an Intercontinental Ballistic Missile
(ICBM) attack on the United States homeland. With GMD DSC the MDA
customer intends to upgrade the existing GMD system capabilities through
testing and development as well as sustain the operations capability in
the face of dynamic threat scenarios.
We are looking for a ILS Supply Support Engineer to be responsible
for the actual planning and execution of supply support and acquisition
of required services and support for the GMD equipment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor Degree with 4+ years of related experience
- Experience developing and maintaining LMI database.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/Access/Project).
- Candidate must be a U.S. citizen with an active SECRET clearance or ability to obtain clearance.
Required Education (including Major):
Requires bachelor's degree in logistics, engineering, business or
related discipline.
